Markham Homes LLC is proud to provide a comprehensive range of supports through the NC Innovations Waiver, B3 Services, and additional community-based programs for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. We are honored to serve individuals and families across the following North Carolina counties: Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Rowan, Stanly, Union, Caswell, Franklin, Davidson, and Rockingham.

Our Services

    Group Home Girls 7 - 18

    This three-bedroom residential group home provides a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for girls ages 7–18. The home offers 24-hour support, individualized guidance, and developmentally appropriate services that promote stability, emotional well-being, life-skills growth, and positive social connections. We proudly accept NC Innovations Waivers and 1915(i) services to ensure accessible, person-centered care. Each resident benefits from a comfortable bedroom space, shared living areas, and a caring team dedicated to fostering healing, independence, and healthy futures.

    Community Networking

    Community Networking focuses on helping individuals become more involved, connected, and active within their local communities. Services may include:

    Participation in volunteer opportunities, clubs, and recreational activities

    Building natural supports and friendships

    Learning skills for community access (such as using transportation, navigating community settings, and engaging in typical daily activities)

    Exploring personal interests and hobbies in integrated community environments

    These services promote social inclusion, independence, and an improved quality of life beyond the home setting.

    I/DD Residential

    Markham Homes LLC’s Assisted Family Living program offers adults a supportive, family-style home environment where they receive individualized care, daily living assistance, and opportunities for meaningful community involvement. We proudly accept the NC Innovations Waiver and 1915(i) services to ensure accessible, person-centered support. Adults are matched with trained caregivers who provide 24-hour assistance, skill-building, and compassionate guidance within a safe, comfortable, and stable home setting designed to promote independence and enhance quality of life.

    Supportive Employment

    Our Supported Employment services are designed to help individuals obtain and maintain meaningful, competitive employment in their communities. We provide:

    Assistance with identifying job interests and strengths

    Support with job searching, applications, and interview preparation

    On-the-job coaching and training to learn work tasks and expectations

    Ongoing communication with employers to promote success and inclusion

    Respite

    Markham Homes LLC’s Adult Respite Program provides short-term, supportive care for adults who require supervision and assistance while giving primary caregivers a temporary and needed break. Our respite services offer a safe, comfortable, and structured environment where individuals receive personalized attention, daily living support, and opportunities for social engagement. Whether for a few hours, overnight stays, or extended periods, we ensure continuity of care, dignity, and comfort for every participant.

    Day Support Center COMING SPRING 2026

    Our Day Supports program provides structured daily activities in a licensed facility-based setting and in the community. Members participate in planned events that promote independence, socialization, peer engagement, physical wellness, and meaningful skill development.

  • Innovations Waiver – Community Navigation

    The NC Innovations Waiver offers home- and community-based services designed to support children and adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, helping them remain in their homes and communities rather than institutional settings.

    Our Community Navigation services connect members and families with Medicaid and non-Medicaid resources, education, advocacy, and collaborative support. Markham Homes LLC promotes strong person-centered practices—empowering members to explore their goals, build skills, and thrive within their communities.
